I have worked with Tom for many years at Weston Playhouse in Vermont. He is that most special combination - very talented and a complete delight to work with. I often create reductions of full orchestrations, and it requires the Reed player to basically sound like many musicians at the same time. Tom pulls this off better than anyone I know and always has interesting solutions to contribute to the project. Anyone would be lucky to work with him!

Tom is an exceptional player! I was the orchestrator for a new show called The Astonishing Time of Timothy Cratchit. We needed to make a cast recording and Tom came highly recommended. He was absolutely magnificent! He played on all reeds for us including oboe which is very rare to find someone who can do that these days, and he did so masterfully. It was also such a delight working with him as he was respectful, attentive, and made every line sing! Tom is my go to person to recommend to everyone who needs a reed player!

Tom is an outstanding player and a wonderful collaborator. As an orchestrator of new works, it is always a thrill to know Tom will be in the ensemble. His input into what a multi-instrumentalist can do and his ideas for how to approach various passages have been invaluable to every project we've worked on together. What's more, he's a joy to be around and can play anything you put in front of him!

I had a fantastic experience working with Tom on a project at Carnegie Hall in which he performed. His expert musicianship, joyful demeanor and great collaborative spirit made it a wonderful time for our team and the audience. I can't wait to work with him again!

Long-time Broadway/Regional conductor here. Tom is the BEST. His klezmer clarinet solo in our FIDDLER production was transcendent. You’ll never work with someone who knows as much about every different sound he can make with every single instrument. Plus, a top-notch fellow!

I have worked with Tom on several projects and he is the epitome of professional and artistic. From filming RuPaul’s Dragrace star Nina West in a fully virtual big band show “Heels of Horror” to covering wind parts in Sister Act the musical, Tom is adaptive and reflexive. Musical books aren’t known for their accuracy, and Tom takes the initiative to be fully prepared and accurate coming into rehearsals.
